Welcoming them into party-fold, BSP western UP In-charge Munqad Ali said, "Samajwadi Party has disappointed in the last 10 months as cases of crime has increased in the state."
He accused the Samajwadi Party government of ignoring Gautam Buddha Nagar district as it was a BSP stronghold.
Congress leader Amit Bhati, Manvir Awana, Sumit Pradhan, Mayand Gautam and few others left Congress and joined BSP.
