Pratibha Singh, a former MP and wife of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, filed her nomination papers for Mandi Lok Sabha by-elections here today.
Chief Minister, his cabinet colleagues, HPCC president Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu, MLAs and several other leaders were present on the occasion.
Soon after the nomination process, Virbhadra addressed a rally and accused the BJP of playing "divisive" politics in the name of caste, religion and region.

All cases of corruption and the charges mentioned the charge-sheet prepared by Congress during the BJP rule in the state, would be probed and taken to logical ends, the Chief Minister said.
Singh, who had won from Mandi constituency in 1971, 1980 and 2009 recalled his association with people of the constituency and said that his wife had also won from the constituency in 2004.
BJP candidate Jai Ram Thakur is expected to file his nomination papers on June 1.
