At a time when campaigning for the upcoming Feb. 7 Assembly polls here is gathering momentum, Congress suddenly finds itself left high and dry in the online space as the website of its local unit as also that of the party's national mouthpiece Congress Sandesh have gone offline.
The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee website at http://www.Dpcc.Co.In/ as well as the online edition of Congress Sandesh (www.Congressandesh.Com) are offline at the moment following the exit from the party of Sanjay Puri, the site administrator for these portals.
These websites currently display the following message: "This site with doman (sic) name DPCC.CO.IN was designed, developed and maintained by Shri Sanjay Puri since 2008 (Member Congress Campaign Committee, DPCC, 2015).

Puri was NSUI's national president and Youth Congress secretary and a member of the party for 30 years. He also headed the Delhi unit's computer and research department.
Reports had it that he was denied a ticket for the upcoming polls.
Reacting to the matter, Congress spokesman Randeep Surjewala expressed confidence that the party would sort out the issue and, if need be, re-register the domain name.
