Opposition Congress today demanded dismissal of Haryana government over the proposed move to rename sports complexes named after former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and also alleged that its ministers were attempting to "implement RSS agenda".
Congress MLAs led by Legislature Party leader Kiran Choudhary and two-time former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda walked nearly 1.5 km from the assembly complex to Haryana Raj Bhawan and submitted a memorandum to the governor demanding the government's dismissal.
Hooda was not present inside the House when the MLAs walked out but he joined them along the way to Raj Bhawan.

The Congress members walked out and boycotted the proceedings for rest of the day today as the party took strong objection to Sports Minister Anil Vij's statement over the proposed renaming of rural sports complexes which are named after late Rajiv Gandhi.
The Opposition also objected to some remarks made by Vij and Agriculture Minister O P Dhankar in context of the "Nehru- Gandhi" family.
The Congress MLAs, including Hooda, Choudhary, former speaker Kuldeep Sharma, R S Kadian, Karan Singh Dalal, Geeta Bhukkal, later addressed a press conference at Hooda's residence.
"Remarks made by Haryana ministers inside the House were highly condemnable," Hooda told reporters.
"All Congress MLAs, most of us being elected on many occasions, conduct themselves in an orderly manner inside the House, but the BJP ministers and other members do not follow any decorum. I have remained an MP and four-time legislator but I have never seen this kind of attitude and behaviour as displayed by BJP MLAs," he said.
He said that party had submitted a memorandum to the governor seeking dismissal of the government since its ministers and MLAs were making "irresponsible comments" and also using language which was "insulting and derogatory" in nature for our national leaders.
"We will not sit silently and will not allow the House to run till the Leader of the House (chief minister) and his ministers tender an apology in the Assembly," Hooda said.
Hooda further claimed a "conspiracy" was being hatched to change the course of discussion inside the House.
He further claimed that attempts were being made to "implement the RSS agenda..The government has nothing to show to the people after they (BJP) befooled them with tall promises and now they are resorting to such tactics to divert people's attention from real issues.
