Cong demands reply from govt on woman's allegation

Devi, a para-teacher (contractual teacher), had in September last year raised the issue before quickly retracting after the minister vehemently denied the allegations then.

However, she once again appeared at New Bandhpara here on August 18 and repeated her allegations before the local media that she had been separated from her former husband in 1994 and 'married' Jha a few years later and have a four-year-old son from the 'second marriage'.

The Congress activists burnt the effigy of Jha during the day and demanded his resignation.
