"There is no truth in reports that the MLAs spoke to me about replacing the present Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kantilal Bhuria with union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia," Hariprasad told PTI.
Media reports here had said that the MLAs met Hariprasad, who is in-charge of Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday in Delhi and urged him to replace Bhuria with Scindia.
Hariprasad said the MLAs had spoken to him only about the manner in which the BJP government in the state was ignoring elected representatives.
"The MLAs told me to urge the Centre to talk to the state government and ensure that elected representatives were given due importance," he added.
