Congress today dismissed as 'media creation" reports that there was a rift within in Haryana as former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and state party Chief Ashok Tanwar held separate meetings yesterday with state leaders.

Asked about reports that Hooda's luncheon meeting at his new official residence in Chandigarh was a 'show of strength', Haryana CLP leader Kiran Chaudhary told reporters at the AICC briefing that it should not be seen in such a light.

Dismissing it as 'media creation", she said that it was just a social occasion and the Haryana Congress leaders have been together and have been attending the marathon review meetings organised by the party.

Hooda's luncheon meeting was attended by several party leaders, including Chaudhary and other sitting 15 MLAs of the party, even as state party Chief Ashok Tanwar held a "review meeting" at the party's headquarters.
