Congress today said it expects to win at least 10 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.

"We are contesting in 13 seats and one is being fought by our alliance partner BPF. As per our calculations, we are ahead in 10 seats and hope to win these," Assam PCC chief Bhubaneswar Kalita told reporters here.

He said the party is trying to do well in 2-3 more seats in the coming third phase of polling in the state on April 24.

"For the campaigning in the third phase, we have sent invitation to Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi. Hope they will respond positively," Kalita said adding Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is leading the campaign here.

On allegation of dissidence, he said all party MLAs were working for the victory of all the Congress candidates.

"Some one may be working more hard, some may be little less. But everyone is working for the victory of Congress candidates...I have not received any complaint from any candidate about non-cooperation of any MLA," he said.
