As Narendra Modi hit the campaign trail in the Hindi heartland, Congress today castigated him for his relations with Shiv Sena and MNS chief Raj Thackeray who have been critical of migrants from UP and Bihar.

"Modi, BJP, Shiv Sena and now Raj Thackeray have been together against UP and Bihar migrants. Would Modi apologise when he goes to UP and Bihar?

"Has Modi or BJP ever stood up against bashing of UP and Bihar migrants in Mumbai by Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena?," Party general secretary Digvijay Singh, a known detractor of Modi, tweeted.

Singh, who has recently been in the news due to specualtion about his probable candidature against Modi from Varansasi, also said, "No one can beat BJP/ Modi in taking undue credit for themselves. Now they are taking credit for recovery in market and value of ? ! I won't be surprised if they take credit for Team India's win in World Cup also !"

Another party general secretary Shakeel Ahmed flayed Modi for his allegaton that there was "conspiracy" behind flight delays stalking his election campaign in UP and MP.

With flight delays stalking his election campaign in UP and MP, Modi had yesterday attacked the Centre alleging a "conspiracy" and demanded that Election Commission probe the matter.

Daring the Congress-led UPA, the BJP prime ministerial candidate said that if they were so scared of him, they should declare that it would not let him fly during this election.

Slamming him over the allegation, Congress leader Ahmed said on Twitter, "Modi blames Congress for helicopter delay. In the election season it's not unusual. We may be blamed for even a mosquito bite by BJP&Mr Modi.
