Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh today accused the Congress-led Punjab government of having failed "miserably" on all fronts.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Singh also blamed the Congress of "backtracking" from its majority of its poll promises, including loan waiver for farmers.

"The suicide rate of distressed farmers has increased substantially as Congress government completely betrayed them after promising loan waiver," said Singh.

"The government is not even considering other poll promises like, enhancement in old-age pensions to Rs 2,500 per month, eradication of drugs, and unemployment allowance of Rs 2,000 per month," he said.

Singh also slammed the Congress government over the law- and-order situation in Punjab, saying it had deteriorated to such an extent that "criminals are striking at will in every part of the state".
