Expressing concern over the security situation along the border, the state unit of Congress today attacked the NDA government at the Centre saying that it had "no coherent policy" on Pakistan.

The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee also endorsed the view of Congress Working Committee which today called upon the Centre to take a "decisive stand on Pakistan".

"Our jawans and civilians are being increasingly targeted. The central government has no coherent policy on Pakistan... Do what is necessary to establish peace and security on our borders and ensure that the perpetrators of cross border terrorism are brought to justice," JKPCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir said during a meeting of party functionaries.

JKPCC also lashed out at the Centre for "neglecting" flood-affected people in the state. It also accused the state government of failing to secure relief and rehabilitation package even one year after the devastating floods.
