In a letter to Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, he alleged the Punjab government was withdrawing security cover of its political opponents, especially those belonging to the Congress.
Mann termed the state government's move as irrational and demanded restoration of security cover for party leaders.
He said the security for Congress leaders was necessary in view of attempts to revive the menace of terrorism in the state.
Mann, in this context, cited the attack on Lt Gen (retd) K S Brar in London.
Releasing copies of the letter to media, he said "I have organised peace marches for building opinion against terrorism as Cabinet minister in governments headed by Beant Singh, H S Brar, Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and Amarinder Singh."
"My family has also been on the hit list of terrorists," Mann said.
He said he had had got Z Plus security in the past "but now, I am without any security."
