BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain today attacked Congress for taking over the farmers stir in Madhya Pradesh, saying several videos have emerged in which they are seen inciting the agitators to torch vehicles and loot police stations.

"More than 34 Congress leaders or activists have been booked by the police for inciting the sentiments of protesting farmers in Madhya Pradesh," he said on the sidelines of an event to promote tourism here today.

Alleging that the Congress has nothing to do now, he said the farmers, who feed the nation, had no intention to harm anyone.

"It is people within the Congress who incited them to commit loot in police stations and burn vehicles. Several videos have come out exposing Congress leaders," Hussain said.

The BJP leader claimed that Congress MLA Jitu Patwari was "openly seen abusing and inciting people".

Another Congress MLA Shakuntala Khatik is purportedly seen in a video asking people to put police station on fire, he claimed.

Hailing the work of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, he said everyone knows that the country has got a leader as Modi, who serves the nation day and night.

Campaigns such as 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Modi- Fest' are being conducted countrywide to highlight the achievements during three years of governance, he added.
