Congress will release the first list of its candidates for the forthcoming civic body polls in Uttarakhand by the end of this week.
"The first list of candidates for the civic body polls will be out by April 6," Pradesh Congress spokesman Dhirendra Pratap told PTI from Haldwani where he has gone as part of a tour of Kumaon region to drum up support for the party in view of the coming elections.
The upcoming elections are being viewed as a dry run for 2014 general elections.
