Congress candidate Amjad Saleem was arrested this evening following a police complaint filed against him by two other candidates IS Tomar and Chandra Bhoj Pathak, alleging that Saleem and his supporters created ruckus at the programme organised by a newspaper in the city last night, SP Sanjiv Gupta said.
They alleged that Saleem and his supporters reached late at the programme and when other Mayoral candidates started leaving the venue they threw chairs, injuring some persons at the function.
