Mohan Reddy faces disqualification proceedings as he has sided with YSR Congress President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy by defying Congress. He had deposed before Legislative Council Chairman A Chakrapani yesterday and presented his version on the disqualification issue.

The MLC, however, submitted his resignation today after CBI froze the bank accounts of Jagati Publications and Indira Television Limited owned by Jagan.

"It was (late) YSR who made me an MLC. I can't stand the harassment his family is being subjected to by Congress," Mohan Reddy said, adding he would henceforth work full-time for the YSR Congress.
