On her arrival here today, Samant told newsmen during her visit to Dahod, she would meet the district collector, DSP and others to record their statements over manhandling of Lok Sabha MP Prabha Taviyad on Gujarat Formation Day celebrations on May 1.
"I will submit my report to the Commission and suggest steps to prevent such type of incidents and also recommend action against those responsible for it," Samant said.
The workers of city unit of Congress party met her today and demanded strict action against those responsible for attack on Taviyad.
