The BJP in Jammu and Kashmir today alleged that the Congress practices divisive politics and supports anti-national forces in the garb of secularism and tolerance.
"The Congress is following divisive politics and supporting the anti-national forces and activities under the pretext of secularism and tolerance," he said reacting on reported comments of senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad that "war-like situation" on ideologies has emerged in the country.
Azad is indulging in a futile exercise to revive the Congress which has been rejected by the masses because of its nepotism, corruption, anti-people policies, slow pace of development, by raising the bogy of ideology war with BJP, Gupta said.
The spokesperson said the education policy of the Union government is trying to remove distortions from the history of the country.
