Cong refuses to comment on Pawar endorsing Nitish as face of

Congress today chose to ignore NCP chief Sharad Pawar's remarks endorsing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the most suitable candidate to lead a united opposition in the next Lok Sabha polls, if it came into being.

"I will only speak on this (AgustaWasteland) issue," senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad remarked at the AICC briefing when asked about his reaction on Pawar's statement.

The former Union Minister had in an interview said that the JD(U) president will be the most credible face of an anti-BJP alliance.

Congress considers party Vice President Rahul Gandhi as its future leader and PM candidate.
