The Delhi unit of Congress today released a chargesheet on alleged "corruption and failures" of the three municipal corporations ruled by BJP for the past ten years.

Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken gave a powerpoint presentation of the "so-called" work done by the BJP-run civic bodies in health, education, pensions, revenue generation and development of civic amenities, alleging that the bodies have cheated the people by failing on several counts.

Gearing up for the MCD elections in April, the party also accused the AAP-led Delhi government for the financial crisis being faced by the municipal corporations.

Congress will hold a panel discussion on March 6 on a draft road map for making the MCDs self-reliant. Senior party leaders P Chidambaram and Jyotiraditya Scindia will take part in the discussion, Maken added.
