Cong resolves to oppose "anti-people" policies of NDA

Congress workers all over the state today took a resolve to oppose land acquisition bill and "anti-people" policies of the NDA government at the Centre.

Congress workers led by respective leaders marched from their offices to the statues of prominent personalities in their districts and cities and took the resolve to oppose the "anti-farmer, anti-labourer" policies of the NDA government, party release here said.

In Lucknow, Congress0 workers marched to the GPO and resolved to oppose such policies before the statue of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a party release here said.

They said that the land acquisition bill is not acceptable to them in the present form and resolved that "the policies of the Modi government in favour of capitalists harming farmers interest will be opposed at all levels".
 

They also resolved to make the Kisan Rally in Delhi on April 19 a big success, the release said.
