Vadra issue from Narendra Modi, Congress today told the Gujarat Chief Minister that there used to be a son-in law during Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government.

"All that was said by the Chief Minister of Gujarat was found incorrect and false. Now, if the Chief Minister wants to be trapped in this worldly affair, he should analyze that there used to be a son-in-law a few years back," party spokesperson Manish Tewari told reporters.

Tewari's veiled reference was to Ranjan Bhattacharya, the foster son-in law of Vajpayee. He was responding to a question about the reported statement of Modi that it is good that he does not have a son or son-in-law.
