Congress today took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his address to school children noting that teachers should allow students to develop their personalities and not impose theirs own on them.
Party spokesperson Salman Khurshid said Congress has no issue with the Prime Minister addressing the students across the country but felt the ocassion could have been utilised to make the day more substantive for teachers.
Congratulating teachers and students on the Teacher's Day, he said the occasion needed to be used "more substantially" and not as an opprtunity to "project".
