BJP also attacked Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal accusing him of "reducing the debate to the lowest level and "indulging in pure abuse" by talking about the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.
"Kapil Sibal has reduced the level of the debate to the lowest level...If he is talking about the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, a point which we have always denied and which has been proven by courts of law, then it is not the pursuit of truth that he is indulging in, he is indulging in pure abuse", BJP leader Yashwant Sinha said.
"For him to compare this and say that we are murdering democracy, I would like to remind Kapil Sibal that he is a member of the party which had indeed murdered democracy by imposing Emergency in this country in 1975", he said.
Sinha said Sibal "has absolutely no right to talk about democracy...He belongs to a party which has sought to destroy democracy in this country".
On the zero-loss theory, Sinha said "this theory is nothing but to create confusion and we will not allow this confusion to be created."
He said the coal blocks loss as calaculated by CAG is Rs 1.86 lakh crore and this amount will come true if these coal blocks allocations are cancelled and auctioned. (MORE)
