Congress will hold a 'Chintan Shivir' here on February 28 where people from different walks of life will discuss and make resolutions to boost the party.

The day-long camp will be held at the guest house of Sanjay Gandhi Hospital at Munshiganj, vice president Rahul Gandhi's Amethi representative Chandrakant Dubey and president of district Congress committee Yogendra Mishra said today.

The camp is being organised on the instructions of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul to revamp the party, they said.

They also said that "at least 10 groups consisting 20 to 25 persons from different walks of life including party activists, intellectuals, ex-force men and farmers will take active part in the discussion and give resolutions on how to boost the party".

Though he was elected for the third time, Rahul Gandhi's margin of victory had come down in the last Lok Sabha elections as BJP's Smriti Irani, now HRD Minister, gave him a tough fight.

Irani's visits to the constituency and activities by her party workers are raising the challenge on Rahul, according to sources.
