"The rally should be considered as the beginning of the party's campaigning for the state Assembly elections due next year," Rajasthan PCC president Dr Chandrabhan told reporters here today.
The rally, as part of the campaign for the upcoming Assembly polls, would be attended by several Union and state ministers, he said.
"All the preparations to make the ensuing rally successful are on and the appointed districts in charges are collecting feedback of the preparations," Chandrabhan said.
He said that the main focus of the rally would be to promote flagship and other ambitious schemes of the government and highlight the achievements made by it.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader and MLA Gulabchand Kataria has launched a campaign in the tribal region of Rajasthan to highlight the issues of corruption and inflation in the present regime.
The campaign that started from Gogunda constituency in Udaipur district yesterday, is scheduled to cover 35 Assembly constituencies across the tribal belt.
Kataria, a former home minister, had also planned a similar campaign which was named as 'Lok Jan Jagran Yatra' earlier this year but he had to drop the plan following strong objection from leader of opposition and former chief minister Vasundhara Raje and her supporters.
