"The Government of India have funded Rs 2 lakh crore for implementation of various welfare schemes during the last 12 years to the BJD government. If the Centre stops funding, Odisha government cannot afford to feed a peon," Tytler told reporters after addressing a party workers meeting here in the western parts of the state.
Various plans named after Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and others by the central government, were being changed by the Odisha government, he alleged adding that the booklet on Centre's funding to the state would be released in next 45 days.
Warning leaders and workers against infighting in the party, Congress leader said that the party could easily stage a come back to power if it worked unitedly and expose the BJD government.
Referring to recent political development in the state, Titler said the BJD government would automatically be dethroned as its own people have started exposing the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Asking Congress people to take benefits of the situation, Tytler said that the party workers and leaders must work together in order to oust the BJD government.
