Congress in Telangana would review its preparations for the coming municipal elections in Telangana at Sangareddy town on July 21.
The meeting,to be attended by party MLAs, MPs, presidents of District Congress Committees (DCCs), would review the poll preparations by dividing the 32 districts (total 33 districts) into three groups, Congress sources said here Friday.
The municipal polls are expected to be held early next month.
Congress suffered a massive defeat in the Assembly polls (winning only 19 of the total 119 segments), but salvaged its prestige by bagging three seats in the recent Lok Sabha polls.
It hopes to do well in the municipal elections.

The clarification came in response to the comments allegedly made by his brother and Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy that his brother would also join the BJP soon.
