The Opposition Congress has decided to corner ruling BJP on various issues like swine flu deaths, corruption and cotton MSP, during the Budget Session of the state Assembly starting from February 23.
Leader of Opposition in Gujarat Assembly Shankersinh Vaghela today held a meeting with Congress MLAs and charted out a plan to corner the BJP government.
"Gujarat government has failed on several fronts. We will corner the BJP government on various issues, such as swine flu deaths, widespread corruption, minimum support price (MSP) for cotton and deteriorating law and order situation in the state," Vaghela told reporters after a meeting with MLAs.

The LoP also claimed that there is an acute shortage of doctors, nurses and medicines in all the government-run hospitals across the state.
"In addition, doctors are also afraid of treating swine flu affected patients, as they fear for their own safety, claimed Vaghela.
He also took a dig at the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and taken-up by state government, as just another "publicity stunt".
"Government should take steps to ensure the safety of doctors too. Instead of just posing with brooms in front of cameras and doing drama of cleaning streets, the state government should consider the gravity of the situation as people are dying on large scale due to swine flu and dengue," said Vaghela.
