"We met the Governor and requested him to devolve powers to the panchayats, speed up roads and other progressive projects, so that the people feel things are moving fast under the President's rule," Congress leader and former deputy chief minister Stephen Marandi told reporters here.
Accompanied by former assembly speaker Alamgir Alam and former minister Radhakrishna Kishore, Marandi said they submitted a memorandum to the Governor at the Raj Bhavan.
