Cong workers hold protest in Ambala over National Herald case

Congress workers today held protest rally and burnt effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in protest against the National Herald case here.

Led by its National General Secretary Himmat Singh, the Youth Congress staged protest in Ambala City while the District Congress Committee burnt the effigy the PM on Ambala- Chandigarh road at Baldev Nagar.

Meanwhile, Mahila Congress wing also protested over the issue.

Himmat Singh, while addressing the party workers, said National Herald case was a pure "political vendetta", and the Congress workers will not tolerate this "political atrocity" and they would come on street against it.
