Congress workers today held a demonstration over the drinking water crisis in the city and demanded that Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje intervene and provide a solution.
Led by state Congress chief Sachin Pilot, Congress workers held a 'Matka Tod' demonstration at Panipech area, where they broke earthen pots as a mark of protest.
There is a severe crisis of drinking water in the state capital but the government is doing nothing to ensure supply. Chief Minister should take cognisance of the matter and people should be supplied drinking water, Pilot told reporters.
