Five activists of the Congress party were booked by police for allegedly using "indecent" words in posters pasted on roadways buses.
Among those booked were Kamaljit Singh Brar, the son of former Punjab minister Darshan Singh Brar.
According to the police, the Congress activists allegedly pasted posters with the picture of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in a dozen Punjab Roadways buses and also used "indecent" words regarding the state government's achievements.
Though no arrest was made yet, a case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC against them, police said.
