Several activists of Youth Congress today held here a protest demonstration marking the completion of one year of the Narendra Modi government at the centre.
The activists led by President, Pradesh Youth Congress, Pranav Shagotra, accused the Centre for failing on all fronts as it completes one year in the office.
"The government has been a failure, all the promises made to the people by the BJP before coming to the power turned out be dud," Shagotra said.
Shagotra said "this was a 'suit boot ki sarkar' which has done nothing for the people of the country".
"Adding to the miseries of the farmers who have suffered huge losses... The government is planning to snatch their land from them which is their only source of livelihood," he said.
He accused the Narendra Modi government of being anti-poor and pro-corporate which was only benefitting the big businesses in the country.
