Accusing that crores have been recovered in raids from the near and dear ones of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Madhya Pradesh, AICC general secretary in-charge for the state B K Hariprasad claimed that corruption in the two states have reached alarming proportions.

At a specially convened press conference, Madhya Pradesh state Congress chief Kantilal Bhuriya and CLP leader Ajay Singh pointed out that the IT raids at the properties of businessmen Dilip Suryavanshi and Sudhir Sharma, who were connected with Chauhan, have found dramatic increase in their property.

The PCC had also sought a reply from the Chief Minister through an eleven-point questionnaire, which levelled allegations of patronising and partnering corruption against Chauhan and senior BJP leader Prabhat Jha.

Hariprasad also took a dig at senior BJP leader L K Advani, saying how could he overlook corruption in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattishgarh when he was undertaking an anti-corruption yatra in past.

Congress is out of power in these two states in central India for nearly ten years.
