Rejecting the ruling BJD's claim of securing 105 seats in the 147-member Odisha Assembly, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee(OPCC) today claimed its candidates will win in 70 Assembly segments and in at least 10 Lok Sabha constituencies.
"We will win in 70 Assembly segments. While 30 seats will come from the south and western regions of the state where first phase polls were held for 70 Assembly segments and 10 Lok Sabha seats, 40 seats will come from the coastal region," OPCC president Jaydev Jena said.
Asked about the Lok Sabha polls, Jena said Congress candidates would win in at least 10 of the 21 Parliamentary constituencies in the state.
