The Rajasthan Assembly today witnessed disruption by the Congress during Zero Hour with several Opposition members rushing into the well to seek the government's stand on reservation to Special Backward Classes.

Seeking to attract the government's attention towards the ongoing fast-unto-death by SBCs youths, Congress MLA Ghanshyam Mehar demanded to know if the government would give reservation to SBCs or not.

Other Congress members too joined Mehar alleging that the government wants to distract SBCs on the reservation issue.

Rubbishing the allegations, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Arun Chaturvedi said the government has been reiterating its commitment repeatedly to issue, which is pending in the Supreme Court.

We are ready to debate on the issue based on the logic and on the rules, he added.
