Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the Congress has "lost" its national identity as it cannot progress on its own without relying on support from regional parties.

Congress, which has tasted power in India for the last six decades, is now unable to take even a step without support from smaller regional parties, Das said while talking to media persons after paying a visit to the Rajrappa temple in Ramgarh district.

"Congress is "struggling for it's existence" with the help from small regional parties like JD(S) in Katnataka and JMM in Jharkhand," Das said.

Congress has lost not only its glory but also faith of people of the country as the party is standing behind regional parties like JD(S) in Karnataka, he claimed.

Talking about May 28 Gomia assembly bypoll, Das claimed the BJP nominee Madhavlal Singh would win as people have faith in the BJP as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
