Taking exception to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's attack on Congress over issues concerning national and internal security, Andhra Pradesh Congress chief B Satyanarayana today wondered how the BJP could make tall claims about these matters.

Talking about Modi's criticism of the Congress while addressing a rally here yesterday, he said that the chief minister should not forget about how the BJP government released terrorists during the Kandahar hijack episode and how terror attacks at Akshardham occurred when the party was in power.

The UPA government took concrete measures like MNREGA for the benefit of the poor, Satyanarayana said.
