Congress MP Bavalia, BJP candidate file their nominations

Congress MP Kunvarji Bavaliya and Mohan Kundariya of the BJP filed their nomination papers for the April 30 general election from the Rajkot Lok Sabha seat here today, after addressing public rallies near race course ground.

Bavaliya declared Rs 1.3 crore as assets while Kundariya declared Rs 3.94 crore worth of assets.

However, Bavaliya faces a cheating case lodged against him in Vinchhiya town of Jasdan taluka of Rajkot district, while Kundariya, who was recently involved in a controversy after he was caught on camera walking on the backs of youth performing yoga skills, claimed that no police complaint had been filed against him.
 

BJP's Vitthal Radadiya too filed nomintion papers from the Porbandar seat where he is contesting against NCP candidate and son of the late "godmother" Santokben Jadeja.

Kandhal Jadeja is an MLA from Kutiyana constituency.
