The Congress has lost the people's mandate in the entire country because of its "defective" policy and intent, BJP national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna claimed today.

He was speaking at a state-level meeting of the party's office bearers and public representatives here.

"Congress policy and intent are defective due to which it has lost mandate in the country," said Khanna, who is also the BJP's Rajasthan in-charge.

The meet was also attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and BJP national joint secretary V Satish, besides other senior leaders.

Satish said the opposition was trying to propagate a negative message against the BJP in the country and urged party workers to reach out to the masses to expose the Congress.

The Centre and the state government have worked for development, Raje said.

She exuded confidence that the BJP will win the upcoming Rajasthan assembly and general elections.

Outgoing BJP state president Ashok Parnami said the Congress is left with no real issues and is making hypothetical statements against the BJP.
