The decision in this regard was taken at the party's 'Chintan Shivir' here yesterday, AICC general secretary in-charge of the party's affairs in Uttarakhand Chaudhry Virendra Singh said here after conclusion of the camp.
With an eye on 2014 Lok Sabha polls, a task force was also constituted at the camp to train party workers at the block and city levels, Pradesh Congress chief Yashpal Arya said.
AICC spokesman Rashid Alvi, who also addressed the Shivir, appreciated state government's decision of announcing support price for sugarcane which, he said, was higher than many other states.
On the contentious reservation in promotion bill, Alvi said Congress was trying to evolve a consensus on the issue.
"Congress favours reservation in promotion and we will try our best to convince those opposing the bill," he said.
