Opposition leader in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council C Ramachandraiah today said that the Congress party plans to stall the Parliament unless the Prime Minster issues a statement on total implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.

He said here that even the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister had failed to exert pressure on the Union government about implementation of the act.

He also demanded that the AP Chief Minister should take into confidence all political parties to exert pressure on the Union government to implement the act.

Ramachandraiah said that the party would also collect one crore signatures to focus on the importance of issues incorporated in the act like early completion of the Polavaram irrigation project, allocation of national institutions and a special package as well as funds to meet the state's financial deficit.
