"We have decided to hit the streets in a few days if the police did not give justice quickly to Aminul's family," WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharya told reporters in the presence of the parents of the youngman who immolated himself after alleged harassment when he took a rape victim to the Karaya police station.

"The family is still being harassed. Police did not frame a proper case against the accused who have received bail," Bhattacharya said.

He also said Governor M K Narayanan was right in his remarks about 'goondaism' prevailing in the state.
