Rebutting Congress' criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government, Union minister Shripad Naik today said "the opposition party wants all the development to happen in 12 months."

"Feeling sad that the party which ran government for 60 years now expects the entire development to be done by the Modi-led government in 12 months. We are pro-development and will be doing it during the tenure," Naik told reporters here on the day of NDA government's completion of one-year in power.

He was responding to a series of allegations levelled by Congress' national leaders in Goa vis-a-vis completion of one-year of the Modi-led government.

Naik said the NDA government has done lot of development during last one year.

"We will continue doing development in the state. We are for the development which would be completed during the tenure," he stated.

The BJP-led government has been fulfilling all the promises made during the parliamentary polls, he claimed.

"The Congress party had failed to even form a Special Investigation Team to probe black money abroad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi constituted the SIT within a day," Naik said.

"Slowly we are getting the names and the list. Attempts are on to get back the black money," he said.

Naik also said that the Prime minister has managed to strike good relations with neighbouring countries.
