Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma Tuesday urged legislators and business groups in the state to contribute generously towards improving dilapidated school buildings in the state.
Sangma had himself donated one and a half month's salary od Rs 3.14 lakh as chief minister towards the renovation of a dilapidated school building in Shohphria village in remote West Khasi Hills district.
I urge legislators and business groups to contribute their bit for improving education facilities in the state, Conrad said, inaugurating the renovated school building.
