"The impact of innovative works done by our government will be seen in society and environment in the times to come.

"UP will be the first state in the country to have bicycle highway while referring to the 190 km long track planned between Agra and Etawah," he said.

Claiming that cycle tracks have been made in many districts of the state without compromising on the width of the roads meant for vehicular traffic, Yadav claimed that Lucknow alone has 100 km long cycle track and 100 km more has to come up.

Referring to 'clean UP-green UP' programme of his government, Yadav said that it has helped in environment conservation.

"The state has the record of distribution of 10 lakh saplings in a day and plans are afoot to plant five crore saplings on a day in July this year for which Rs 300 crores will be spent," he said.

"The SP government has also worked in the field of developing non conventional energy and has given the permission to sugar mills to generate power through co- generation," he added.
