A constable was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in northwest Delhi, police said today.
Constable Mithun was apprehended following the complaint of a widow who claimed that he went back on his promise of marrying her though they were in a relationship.
She approached the police yesterday with her complaint after which a case of rape was registered.
The constable, who hails from Bihar, joined the force in 2010.
