A private consultancy hired by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) today inspected the site of its proposed study centre in Bihar's Kishanganj district as part of preparations of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) in this regard, according to the expert consultant Kunal Mathur.
A five-member team of the private consultant - M/S India Ltd - inspected the site in order to prepare the DPR for the AMU's study centre there, Mathur told reporters.
The consultancy would complete the DPR in a month and hand it over to the AMU authorities for approval, Mathur said, adding that the construction of study centre campus in the first phase would cost Rs 400 crore while the total cost of overall infrastructure would be about Rs 2,500 crore.
