The petition has been filed in the CJM's court by Ashram chief Swami Shivanand against District Magistrate Sachin Kurve and Medical Superintendent of Jollygrant Himalayan Hospital where the seer was on fast.
Swami Dayanand of the Ashram was not allowed to see Poornanand at the hospital recently despite the court orders in this regard, Swami Shivanand alleged.
Poornanand, who was on a fast-unto-death in protest against resumption of quarrying and stone crushing in ecologically-sensitive areas along the Ganga, had been arrested on the 13th day of his fast last month and remanded in judicial custody on charges of trying to commit suicide.
He had to be force-fed recently at the hospital in view of his deteriorating health.
Swami Shivanand alleged Poornand had been secretly shifted from the hospital to Roshnabad jail where he is being given "inhuman treatment".
